Rick brings decades of experience orchestrating the logistical arrangements for some of our nation's most recognizable public figures. Most notably, Rick served as Personal Assistant to United States Senator Edward M. Kennedy from 1988 to 2000 and has provided dignitary advance services for a litany of high-profile clients such as Bono, John F. Kennedy, Jr., and Ray Charles. Five presidential campaigns and several gubernatorial and congressional campaigns have relied upon Rick's expertise and guidance. Ricks' managerial experience spans political campaigns, federal contracts, corporate events, congressional retreats, national policy forums and a host of non-profit projects. As Director of Operations for Diplomatic Solutions - a private sector event management firm - Rick also has a proven track record of accomplishments in delivering client services in the areas of program support, conference management, and public relations. Rick holds a bachelor's degree in philosophy and political science from Texas Christian University.

Peg also has nearly fifteen years of experience in the field of special event production and logistics management. Notable accomplishments include seven years as a White House event planner during Clinton/Gore Administration - an experience that included senior management roles on three presidential campaigns, two presidential inaugurations, planning committee for the Olympic Games, and three Democratic National Conventions. Peg also served as a consultant to the Kerry-Edwards 2004 presidential campaign orchestrating campaign operations and logistics for the Democratic National Convention and the Election Night concert and celebration in Boston. During the last ten years, Peg has worked on events in all fifty states and on almost every continent, including galas and dedications, conferences and conventions, rallies, policy summits and briefings, charity events, and corporate dinners. Peg holds a master's degree in radio and television broadcasting and a law degree from the University of Virginia. Prior to starting Capitol Network, she practiced for several years as a litigator in the San Francisco office of one of the largest firms in the country. |
